Studio apartments in University Place -options?

I've been here for 5 years and Crime rate is something to consider -University Place sits at 258.2 per 100K. Household incomes average around $94,952 in University Place. With a population of 34,850, University Place is a smaller city. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Any advice would be great. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Bought a house here in 2021 and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is pet-friendliness. it's been a really good experience overall. Worth doing your research before committing.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from Atlanta and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Cedar Grove. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in consulting. If you're in tech you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like sushi.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
