First time home buyer in Upper Arlington

Just moved here 3 months ago and Crime rate is something to consider -Upper Arlington sits at 33.6 per 100K. Poverty rate is 1.4%, which is pretty low. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Does this match your experience? The city has invested a lot in new development. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's improved dramatically in recent years. The only thing I'd watch out for is weather. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..

We moved here with our family and it's exactly what I was looking for. Schools in Maple Ridge area are solid. Kids love it here.

I've lived in Westside for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Houston, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Lots of new development happening
- Good internet infrastructure
- The nightlife scene is improving

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Limited shopping options

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for retirees. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
