Job market in Urania for tech?

Hi all, Born and raised here. Household incomes average around $67,500 in Urania. Poverty rate is 7.9%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $104,000, which is actually reasonable. Homes are going for about $104,000 on average. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Looking forward to hearing from you all. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Bought a house here in 2024 and it was the best decision I ever made. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's exactly what I was looking for. Good luck with whatever you decide..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in West. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in engineering. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally pretty good. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like sushi.

Feel free to reach out with questions..
