First post here. Military spouse here. Crime rate is something to consider -Urbana sits at 294.7 per 100K. Rent is about $951/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $186,300 on average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to.
