Rent is about $911/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Does this match your experience? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want school system, then yeah this place is great. But if community vibe matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Portland, I was surprised by dating scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Affordable housing options
- Good airport with direct flights
- The safety scene is excellent
The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Limited high-paying job options

I've been living here for 12 years and I'd say I genuinely enjoy living here. The outdoor recreation is pretty good compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..
