Is Utica good for remote workers?

Alright, The median home value here is around $216,800, which is actually reasonable. Crime rate is something to consider -Utica sits at 211.7 per 100K. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Am I overthinking this? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
