Hey folks, With a population of 64,440, Utica is a smaller city. Household incomes average around $51,513 in Utica. Poverty rate is 22.9%, which is higher than I expected. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Anyone in a similar situation? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
