Biggest downsides of living in Vacaville?

Hey folks, Crime rate is something to consider -Vacaville sits at 327.3 per 100K. Median household income is $108,580, which feels pretty solid for the area. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Does this match your experience?

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. I have mixed feelings honestly. Compared to New York it's decent.

I've lived in Uptown for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. When I first moved here from Tampa, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Good internet infrastructure
- The traffic scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Rising rent and home prices

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for remote workers. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
