Anyone else feel this way? Been living here since 2013. With a population of 102K, Vacaville is a mid-size city. Crime rate is something to consider -Vacaville sits at 327.3 per 100K. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Should I be concerned?

Came here for school and stayed because it's exactly what I was looking for. The school system is honestly average and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
