I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Crime rate is something to consider -Vacaville sits at 327.3 per 100K. Average temperature is around 60--F, so the weather is moderate. With a population of 102K, Vacaville is a mid-size city. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
