What I wish I knew before living in Vacaville
The unemployment rate is 3.5%, which is pretty low. It's a a mid-size city city with about 102K people. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. What are your go-to spots? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
