Curious what people think. Homes are going for about $367,500 on average. The median home value here is around $367,500, which seems about average. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.
I've been here 8 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is cultural scene. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the cultural scene is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is pretty good.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Eastside side vs the South side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is cultural scene. Other than that, It's not for everyone but it works for us..
