Internet providers in Valdosta?

Born and raised here. With a population of 55,222, Valdosta is a smaller city. Poverty rate is 19.9%, which is higher than I expected. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What neighborhoods would you suggest?

Weather-wise, the summers are solid and winters are manageable. You get used to it after the first year.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in South for 8 years. Moved from Raleigh for family. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is improving. We bought in 2018 at k and it's now worth down slightly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 3-bed in a safe area. The market is competitive but not impossible.

**Employment:**
hospitality is strong here. legal is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are competitive for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it was the best decision I ever made. The outdoor scene is excellent - we have rivers within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. South schools are decent. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Dating scene is rough. Far from beaches/mountains. And safety can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For families, I'd say this is a 6/10. Would recommend to anyone considering it.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

Bought a house here in 2018 and it was the best decision I ever made. Property values have gone down slightly since then.
