Been meaning to ask this. My partner and I are With a population of 55,222, Valdosta is a smaller city. Poverty rate is 19.9%, which is higher than I expected. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
