Not sure if this has been asked before, but I grew up here but left for a while. With a population of 55,222, Valdosta is a smaller city. Average temperature is around 67--F, so the weather is moderate. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. What are your go-to spots? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
