Hey folks, I'm originally from Sacramento and The median home value here is around $276,000, which seems about average. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Worth the trade-offs? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

My experience has been mostly positive. it was the best decision I ever made. The only thing I'd watch out for is walkability. Other than that, Hope this helps!.
