What I wish I knew before living in Valencia West

Not sure if this has been asked before, but What would you do? Thanks for reading. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Bought a house here in 2016 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone about the same since then.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Dallas and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in West. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in real estate you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like seafood.
