Worst things about Valinda nobody talks about

Hello, I've been here for 7 years and It's a a small town city with about 21,626 people. Poverty rate is 7.1%, which is pretty low. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. What are your go-to spots? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.

I've been here 12 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the walkability is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the Meadowbrook side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Good luck with whatever you decide..
