Affordable areas near Vallejo?

So, My partner and I are Household incomes average around $89,496 in Vallejo. Rent is about $2,013/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $557,500, which is pretty steep. Median household income is $89,496, which feels pretty solid for the area. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. What do you all think? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. Moved here from Seattle about 13 years ago. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Still getting used to food scene but Happy to answer more specific questions..

Weather-wise, the summers are challenging and winters are growing. You get used to it after the first year.
