Is Vallejo worth it salary-wise?

OK so I relocated for work and Household incomes average around $89,496 in Vallejo. With a population of 125K, Vallejo is a mid-size city. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What do you all think? Thanks for reading. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I have mixed feelings honestly. Internet is improving in most areas.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are hit or miss, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I've been living here for 7 years and I'd say it's exactly what I was looking for. The traffic is tough compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.
