Job market in Vallejo — what industries are hiring?

I'm in logistics and considering a move to Vallejo, CA. How's the job market there? The unemployment rate shows 4.2% which seems average. But what does it actually look like on the ground?

Is it easy to network and find opportunities?

The job market has been improving lately. Several manufacturing companies moved in recently.

For families, I'd recommend looking at Maple Heights. Schools are rated well and it's quiet.

Check out the Westside area. Way more affordable and still close to everything.

The food scene here is seriously underrated. So many great restaurants.

If you can afford it, Northside is the best place to live. Period.

I work in manufacturing and finding a job wasn't hard. Took about 6 months.

Totally agree with this. I've been here 8 years and my experience is very similar.

Great post! One thing I'd mention is drive around neighborhoods at different times before committing. Makes a big difference.

Good summary. I'd rate it higher personally — maybe 9/10.
