Is public transit usable in Valley?

Hi all, We have two kids and Median household income is $55,422, which feels about average for the area. Household incomes average around $55,422 in Valley. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

I've lived in Eastside for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I'm still on the fence after all this time. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:

- Great outdoor activities nearby

- Low crime in most neighborhoods

- The nightlife scene is pretty good

The downsides:

- Can feel isolated

- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for singles. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
