I work in legal and Average temperature is around 74--F, so it's warm year-round. Poverty rate is 7.7%, which is pretty low. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Came here for quality of life and stayed because there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The community vibe is honestly decent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a HR manager who relocated here from Nashville about 5 years ago. The main reasons were family and work.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good airport with direct flights
Cons that are real:
- Limited shopping options
- Far from beaches/mountains
Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are affordable, gas is tough.
Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
