What to expect moving to Valrico?
Been meaning to ask this. You can expect to pay around $1,698 for rent here. Anyone in a similar situation?

I've lived in Uptown for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Charlotte, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- The public transit scene is surprisingly good
The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Urban sprawl is real
Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for families. Good luck with whatever you decide..
