Most overrated things about Van Buren

Hey everyone, We're a young couple and Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. The unemployment rate is 4.4%, which is about average. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Thoughts? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is traffic. it exceeded my expectations. Worth doing your research before committing.
