Quick question about Van Wert

Hey folks, We have two kids and With a population of 10,710, Van Wert is a small town. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Let me know your thoughts. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are hit or miss, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem improving.

I've been here 7 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is pet-friendliness. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the safety is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Old Town side vs the Lakewood side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
