Anyone else feel this way? We're a young couple and With a population of 10,710, Van Wert is a small town. Homes are going for about $109,700 on average. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Has anyone dealt with this? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
