Weather-wise, the summers are improving and winters are reasonable. You get used to it after the first year.

Used to live on the Greenfield side, now on the East side. Completely different vibe. it's improved dramatically in recent years.

Came here for cost of living and stayed because I have mixed feelings honestly. The outdoor recreation is honestly underrated and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Salt Lake City about 15 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and quality of life.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good healthcare facilities
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Property taxes are high

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are reasonable, gas is solid.

Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Good luck with whatever you decide..

I work in legal here and it exceeded my expectations. The job market for my field is challenging. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Bought a house here in 2016 and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Property values have gone up significantly since then.
