Dog-friendly places in Velda City?

Hey, Been living here since 2007. Rent is about $1,187/month for a decent place. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Would love some local perspective. TIA! The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

I've been living here for 6 years and I'd say it's not perfect but it works for me. The cost of living is tough compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value outdoor recreation, you'll love it. The cultural scene is genuinely tough and I've found it exceeded my expectations. My neighborhood (Springfield) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Nashville, be prepared for the culture shock. traffic is completely different here. And Rising rent and home prices.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Bought a house here in 2015 and it's been a really good experience overall. Property values have gone up a bit since then.
