Housing market in Venice right now

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a teacher here and The unemployment rate is 1.0%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $381,400 on average. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Would love some local perspective. Thanks in advance! Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

We moved here with our family and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Schools in Pine Hills area are pretty good. Kids love it here.

We moved here with our family and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Schools in Maple Ridge area are decent. Kids love it here.
