How is Venice for outdoor activities?

Hey everyone, Homes are going for about $381,400 on average. The median home value here is around $381,400, which seems about average. You can expect to pay around $1,591 for rent here. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Looking forward to hearing from you all. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

I've lived in Downtown for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Baltimore, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Lots of new development happening
- The traffic scene is solid

The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Limited shopping options

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for young professionals. Happy to answer more specific questions..
