How much do you pay for rent in Venice?

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a college student here and With a population of 26,467, Venice is a smaller city. It's a a smaller city city with about 26,467 people. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, the quality of life is solid. Happy to answer more specific questions..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are better than expected, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
