Working in Venice -salaries realistic?

First post here. I grew up here but left for a while. With a population of 26,467, Venice is a smaller city. Average temperature is around 74--F, so it's warm year-round. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What do you all think? Cheers. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

As someone who grew up here, I love the pace of life here. A lot has changed in the past few years though. walkability used to be much manageable but now it's better than expected.
