Moving to Ventnor City for work -advice?

First post here. I work in education and The unemployment rate is 4.3%, which is about average. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Worth the trade-offs?

Moved here from Minneapolis about 7 years ago. I have mixed feelings honestly. Still getting used to healthcare but No regrets on my end..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a accountant who relocated here from San Diego about 10 years ago. The main reasons were weather and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Affordable housing options
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are manageable, gas is surprisingly good.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Feel free to reach out with questions..
