Alright, The unemployment rate is 2.3%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Venus sits at 150.5 per 100K. Homes are going for about $253,500 on average. With a population of 5,874, Venus is a small town. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What neighborhoods would you suggest? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

I've been living here for 12 years and I'd say I have mixed feelings honestly. The outdoor recreation is excellent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are pretty good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Hot take but it's been a really good experience overall. I know a lot of people disagree but after 5 years here, that's my honest assessment.
