Is Verdigris good for remote workers?

Anyone else feel this way? Military spouse here. Homes are going for about $215,400 on average. Household incomes average around $81,406 in Verdigris. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. Let me know your thoughts. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. I have mixed feelings honestly. Compared to Raleigh it's excellent.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 7 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is cost of living. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the healthcare is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is pretty good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Old Town side vs the Maple Ridge side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Good luck with whatever you decide..
