Longtime lurker here, My family moved here when I was a kid. The median home value here is around $172,000, which is actually reasonable. With a population of 10,451, Vermilion is a small town. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

I've been living here for 10 years and I'd say it exceeded my expectations. The nightlife is excellent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

We moved here with our family and I love the pace of life here. Schools in The Heights area are better than expected. Kids love it here.
