Hello, The median home value here is around $384,800, which seems about average. The unemployment rate is 2.6%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Vernon Hills sits at 67.1 per 100K. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Am I wrong here?
