Been meaning to ask this. We have two kids and Homes are going for about $184,200 on average. The unemployment rate is 16.4%, which is concerning. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Am I wrong here? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up.
