I grew up here but left for a while. Crime rate is something to consider -Victoria sits at 513.5 per 100K. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What would you do? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
