Hey, I'm single, late 20s, and It's a a mid-size city city with about 136K people. Rent is about $1,568/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 6.6%, which is concerning. Average temperature is around 61°F, so the weather is moderate. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Would love some local perspective. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
