Starting a business in Victorville?

First post here. Just moved here 9 months ago and Rent is about $1,568/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $70,663 in Victorville. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Thoughts? Thanks! Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's been a really good experience overall. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Used to live on the South side, now on the Westside side. Completely different vibe. it's exactly what I was looking for.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value safety, you'll love it. The food scene is genuinely excellent and I've found it exceeded my expectations. My neighborhood (Meadowbrook) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from New York, be prepared for the culture shock. weather is completely different here. And Not a lot of cultural diversity.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Public transit is underrated here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I genuinely enjoy living here.
