Freelancing from Vidor -experience?

Anyone else feel this way? Average temperature is around 67--F, so the weather is moderate. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Am I wrong here? The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
