Not sure if this has been asked before, but Poverty rate is 26.9%, which is higher than I expected. With a population of 2,115, Vienna is a small town. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance! Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I have mixed feelings honestly. Internet is improving in most areas.

My experience has been mostly positive. I love the pace of life here. The only thing I'd watch out for is cost of living. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I've lived in Fairview for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. When I first moved here from Salt Lake City, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- The pet-friendliness scene is pretty good
The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Urban sprawl is real
Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for singles. Hope this helps!.

Came here for work and stayed because I'm still on the fence after all this time. The pet-friendliness is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.
I've been in Sunset for 11 years. Moved from Charlotte for family. Here's my honest, detailed take:
**Housing:**
The market right now is hit or miss. We bought in 2019 at k and it's now worth about the same than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 4-bed in a safe area. The market is competitive but not impossible.
**Employment:**
finance is strong here. manufacturing is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are pricey for the area.
**Quality of Life:**
I love the pace of life here. The outdoor scene is average - we have lakes within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.
**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Sunset schools are decent. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.
**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Not very walkable outside downtown. Road conditions need improvement. And walkability can be frustrating.
**Bottom line:**
For singles, I'd say this is a 6/10. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

I'm a writer and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. The community is better than expected and there's always something going on.
