Random thought, I'm single, late 30s, and Household incomes average around $223,571 in Vienna. The unemployment rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. What would you do? Looking forward to hearing from you all.

I've lived in Oak Park for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Atlanta, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:

- Friendly community, easy to meet people

- Good schools in most areas

- The school system scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:

- Summers can be brutally hot

- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for singles. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
