What's it really like living in Vienna?

Random thought, Homes are going for about $961,100 on average. With a population of 16,369, Vienna is a small town. Poverty rate is 4.2%, which is pretty low. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. What would you do? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 2 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the safety is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is improving.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The East side vs the Cedar Grove side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Good luck with whatever you decide..
