Why I chose Vienna over bigger cities

Anyone else feel this way? Just moved here 6 months ago and Rent is about $2,430/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $223,571, which feels pretty solid for the area. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What are your go-to spots? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

The food scene here is pretty good. Tons of great Indian places. I genuinely enjoy living here.

I work in engineering here and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The job market for my field is tough. Hope this helps!.
