Working in Vienna -salaries realistic?

I'm a remote worker and Rent is about $837/month for a decent place. Median household income is $65,211, which feels about average for the area. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Thoughts? TIA! It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I have mixed feelings honestly. Internet is average in most areas.

Hot take but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. I know a lot of people disagree but after 5 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I'm a project manager and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. The community is better than expected and there's always something going on.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Lakewood. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in legal. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: tough. Tons of options if you like Southern.

No regrets on my end..

Weather-wise, the summers are tough and winters are developing. You get used to it after the first year.
