Is Vieques comunidad still affordable?

So, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and The unemployment rate is 8.3%, which is concerning. Poverty rate is 60.2%, which is higher than I expected. Household incomes average around $13,525 in Vieques comunidad. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Thoughts? Any help is appreciated. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it exceeded my expectations. Good luck with whatever you decide..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is outdoor recreation. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Worth doing your research before committing.
