Viera East quality of life -am I missing something?

Hey folks, We're a young couple and Rent is about $1,563/month for a decent place. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Has anyone dealt with this? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from Minneapolis and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Cedar Grove. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in education. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like craft beer.
